The sign is up………………

imageWell, it really is now “ours”, and our stamp is going on.

This weekend has been very exciting as our sign has gone up, and so we are here to stay and will soon be open for business.

Our sign is very special, as like our website, the graphics were designed by Jake who is our nephew, a very creative young man.  The sign itself was made by our very good friend Mark, who John and I both went to school with, and who is a sign expert.  Mark’s partner Gayle did the painting for the sign, and our brother in law Steve did all of the steel work. John and Mark’s muscles “popped” the post in and hung the sign, which was quite a job, but a job  very well done.

The post is quite a substantial one, and we think the sign is quite funky and bright and cheerful, and we hope eye catching!!!!  It took some getting in and it is certainly not going any where with the 15 bags of post mix, and hard core that went down the very large hole.

This week we have lots of jobs planned, mainlyimage outside as the forecast is dry.  By the weekend hopefully we will have some good pictures to post with the week’s achievements!

Bernard (the previous owner) left a couple of old tractor tyres, and so one of those came in handy, as a planter with lovely plants from Pentewan Nurseries who are our very good neighbours.

Hopefully, all the motor homes, caravans, walkers and cyclists with tents on their backs, will not miss our lovely site in the Pentewan Valley, and this will entice you all 🙂 to come and stay.

Please do come and stay at The Meadows dog friendly touring park close to St Austell this season You will be very well placed for exploring this lovely part of South Cornwall, whilst may be visiting the Eden Project (fab), Heligan Gardens (superb), or Mevagissey (beautiful). You can either enquire here, or telephone Lynn, or John on 07712599745/01726 844383.  Booking can be made in advance, but we are also more than happy for you to just turn, up and we will always try and find you a good place to pitch.  You cannot be camping and caravanning, in the Pentewan/Mevagissey area as there is just so much to do.
