The ratio of boys to girls changed recently at The Meadows when we got “our girls”, the chucks. It is about to change again as another lady is joining the team.
Lottie is on her way to join us in Cornwall, and all members of the team are very excited. Lottie, or Lotts, for short (as in lots of fun) is a 1960s vintage caravan kitted out”beach hut style”. Lottie is so stylish and will look fabulous sited here at our small sheltered campsite “The Meadows”.
We know (just from enquiries received since we arrived) there are lots of people who want to join in the camping experience, but don’t have all of the gear, enough room in their vehicle, or just want to camp in style!!
Lottie is going to be all decked out and ready for guests to start their holiday on arrival. Lottie will come with a camp-fire pit, Smokey Joe BBQ, SouthSea deck chairs, and of course bunting.
There will be electric hook up for the essentials of life, although cooking will be alfresco so “proper camping” style.
The Meadows is very dog friendly, and so Lottie will be so also. Lottie sleeps two, but there should be room for a small tent if older children want to camp alongside their parents.
We are getting Lottie’s spot ready for her for when she arrives next Friday. John is setting up her deck and camp fire areas, and I am sourcing all the bits and bobs to settle Lottie in for welcoming guests.
If you want to book a stay in Lottie for her first season at The Meadows then contact us here. You can also telephone Lynn, or John on 01726 844383. For week stays it is £295 in low season (June, September & October) and £350 in high season (July & August). Shorter breaks are possible and please get in touch to let us know what is required. Bed linen, crockery, bbq, campfire are all provided for you, and you just need to bring towels and food.
Just to remind you, we are very well placed at The Meadows Campsite for visiting Heligan Gardens, the Eden Project, Fowey, Mevagissey and all of the glorious beaches around the Pentewan Valley area. The walking and cycling is fabulous, and there are great places to eat and so much to see and do, and lots of options for car free days. We welcome tents, motorhomes, and caravans here so give us a try for a Mevagissey/Pentewan, St Austell camping or caravanning holiday.
