A few of our favourite early season pictures

IMG_7106The best part of our jobs is the wonderful people we meet, and the friendly atmosphere our guests create on site.

We have already looked after many guests and we have been a lot busier than 2013 so we are being kept well on our toes.  There has been such a great atmosphere on site, and we have welcomed lots of first time visitors to The Meadows. We have  welcomed back visitors from 2013, which was our first season who have enjoyed seeing the changes we have made. So far, so good, and the miserable winter is already a distant memory! Below are a few pictures taken  of our lovely campsite, in the beautiful Pentewan Valley taken since opening the gates for our second season.  There are also a few of Camp Dog Harvey who has enjoyed a couple of outings with some fellow cavaliers, so we had cavs on tour. We are sure there will be lots more moments to capture and share with you during the season.

Other  Meadows News

Thirstea teaOur guests will be very well fed and watered this season.  Not only are we very privileged to have Kernofornow visiting us every Tuesday evening  starting from 17th June, we also have the Thirstea Company visiting us on a regular basis throughout the season, serving up drinks, homemade cakes, and cream teas.  The first visit by Thirstea  will be 20th June, followed by many more regular visits.  Setting up, and packing up can be thirsty work, as can the longs walks and cycles our guests enjoy so some Cornish delights will be very much appreciated by our guests.

News from Camp Dog I have been busy updating my dog friendly information, and settling guests in to their pitches.  In between my duties, I have been out and about enjoying some of the countryside, and showing some fellow cavs my favourites haunts such as the trail (to the pub), and Gorran Haven.

Bandanas – I am on to this, as no parcel has arrived from the boys from Lincoln, as yet!  My own has a hole in it, so my uniform is birthday suit only for the time being.  Bunting, fairy lights, flags, bats and all things to brighten up the day – loving them, and they do make us all smile.

Look forward to seeing lots of you very soon.
