The Meadows Campsite (just for adults & dog friendly) is the perfect place for a relaxing caravan, campervan, or camping break.   Our small, and natural campsite is very well placed for visiting the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey, the famous Eden Project, Fowey, and lots of other beautiful places in South Cornwall. In around 40 minutes, you can also be over to the North Coast.

Our campsite is in a beautiful valley setting, so is a lovely sheltered sunny spot, with a stream running along one side, and a wooded area. We attract lots of wildlife to our campsite, and our campers like to sit on our deck watching the bird life, or relaxing at their pitch by the stream.

The Pentewan Valley Trail directly adjoins the site, and so you can cycle or walk to lots of Cornish attractions. These include The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pentewan Sands, and Mevagissey (good walk), Eden Project (cycling distance), enabling many car free days. The Trail also links up to the South West Coast Path, and is part of the National Route 3 Cycle Trail (Coast to Clay Trail).

There are bus stops  within a few minutes walk of our gates, taking you to the most popular places.  You can also hop on the Mevaggisey Ferry over to Fowey.

Fire-pits and Smokey Joe BBQS are available for hire, and we can supply you with wood  If you hire a firepit, or bbq from us, all you will have to do is light it, and enjoy. We will do the rest for you.

We are always on the lookout for other visiting locals willing to cook up their speciality to add to our guests’ holiday experience.

We have a small shop in our reception office, enabling you to purchase essential items, including Milk , bread and toiletries etc.

We have Electric Hook Ups available and you can choose a camping pitch to suit you, whether this is by the stream for duck watch, or another preferred sunny and sheltered spot. The site offers hard standing pitches with grass or grass with runners. We also have “proper camping” secluded pitches in our wildflower meadow for our guests who enjoy “wild camping“.

The “proper camping” pitches are informal, giving you plenty of space to enjoy your camping experience. We will personally show you to your allocated pitch on arrival.
